These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Manggagawang Pinoy platform ("Service"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Service immediately.

1. Purpose of the Service

The Manggagawang Pinoy platform is developed to provide Filipino workers with digital tools, employment-related information, and system functionalities intended to improve access to labor services and opportunities.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

2.1. Account Information

Users must provide complete, accurate, and verifiable information when creating an account.

2.2. Account Security

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.

2.3. Account Responsibility

Any activity performed under the user's account shall be deemed as the user's responsibility.

2.4. Account Termination

The Service reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be fraudulent, inaccurate, or engaged in unauthorized activities.

3. Acceptable Use

3.1. Lawful Use

The user agrees to use the platform solely for lawful and legitimate purposes.

3.2. Prohibited Activities

The user shall not engage in activities that may:

  • Harm, disrupt, or compromise the security of the Service
  • Violate the rights, privacy, or intellectual property of others
  • Introduce malicious code or unauthorized system interference

3.3. Consequences of Misuse

Misuse or abuse of the platform will result in suspension or permanent removal of access.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

4.1. Ownership

All system components including trademarks, logos, interface designs, text content, graphics, and system architecture are the exclusive property of Manggagawang Pinoy.

4.2. Usage Restrictions

Users are prohibited from copying, distributing, modifying, or reproducing any material from the platform without prior written authorization.

4.3. Legal Action

Unauthorized use of intellectual property constitutes a violation of applicable laws and will be subject to legal action.

5. Platform Availability and Maintenance

5.1. Service Interruptions

The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, or technical issues.

5.2. No Guarantee

The platform does not guarantee uninterrupted operation or absolute error-free performance.

5.3. System Liability

The developers shall not be liable for any loss resulting from system downtime, data unavailability, or technical malfunction.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1. Right to Access

Users may formally request a copy of the personal information that the platform maintains about them. Requests will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection regulations and within a reasonable time frame.

6.2. Liability Exclusions

Manggagawang Pinoy shall not be held liable for:

  • Inaccurate user-provided information
  • Employment outcomes or third-party actions
  • Loss of data due to user negligence or system interruption
  • Damages arising from unauthorized access to user accounts

6.3. Right to Deletion of Data

Users may request the removal of their personal information from the platform's records. Such requests will be granted unless retention is required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or support legitimate operational purposes.

7. Amendments

7.1. Right to Modify

The Service reserves the right to amend, modify, or update these Terms at any time.

7.2. Acceptance of Changes

Continued use of the platform following such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
